UL 48, UL 879 Listing

Nanov Display has officially tested UL48 for our LCD signage for indoor/outdoor use. UL is a global safety consulting and certification company, renowned for product-testing and safety-analysis of new technology.

The UL48 evaluation involves a rigorous waterproof test (4 HR – Water Shower), a construction test (for resilience against corrosion, mechanical electrical disconnections, and damage to sealant), an electrical test (checking the circuit breaker, grounding, terminal block, Class 2 circuit, and wiring), among other testing.

Models including the NISSM-460LH, a 46" outdoor PIDS monitor, the NISKD-550PCT, a 55" Outdoor Interactive SmartCity Kiosk, and the NISSK-750PC, a 75" Outdoor Media Kiosk featured in this month's newsletter were tested and received this rating. In addition, its intelligent environmental control boards, model name is NMRCM-10, has been under UL listing.
